Rick Astley - Hold me in your arms

It was "Hold Me In Your Arms" (UK #10)

...Or so it seemed. With his second album, Hold Me in Your Arms, it's hard not to wonder if steroids, not genuine muscle power, were the secret to Astley's debut. Sure, each chorus is relentlessly melodic, while the beat remains as belligerent as ever, but somehow the magic is missing.

As is usually the case with dance music, most of the blame lies with the producers. The Stock-Aitken-Waterman team... [continue on www.rollingstone.com]

Hold Me In Your Arms (Rick Astley)

Weve been trying for a long time
To say what we want to say
But feelings dont come easy
To express in a simple way

But we all have feelings
We all need loving
And who would be the fool to say, that if you

Hold me in your arms
I wont feel better
If you hold me in your arms
We can brave this storm together

We both know theres a problem
A problem that weve got to face
So put your trust in me, lover
No-ones ever gonna take your place

cos we all have a problem
We all have fears
But theres always got to be a way
Yes we all have feelings
We all need loving
And you would be a fool to say, that if you

Hold me in your arms
I wont feel better
If you hold me in your arms
We can brave this storm together

(solo)

You only have to hold me
Touch me to make me feel so good
You only have to hold me
Feel me
To make me feel the way you know I should

Hold me in your arms
Hold me in your arms
Hold me in your arms
Hold me in your arms
When you gonna hold me in your arms
Hold me in your arms
Hold me in your arms
Hold me in your arms
Hold me in your arms
Hold me in your arms
Hold me in your arms
Hold me in your arms
Hold me in your arms

  1. when I think about Rick's music, I really only think about his 2 first albums... they were the only ones produced and/or written by SAW. And not even fully! The second album had only few SAW tracks. I dare say without SAW songs Rick only had a good voice, but no impact...
    IMHO, at least...

  2. Yes, Rick's voice is wonderful but S.A.W. made a great job with him. Unfortunatly probably he didn't appreciate at all their songs and as other artists as all we know, he left them. The track I prefer is "Take Me To Your Heart".

Thank you very much for your comment.
