Big Four plus Norway take to the fjords

The United Kingdom's Josh commented about the trip "The ship is very beautiful, going on a day trip gives us a nice chance to meet the other delegations and to chill out." We asked how Josh felt about the big day ahead on Saturday and he said "I cannot wait for the Final, to be in the Final is a great opportunity for me, to sing in front of all of those people will be one of the best experiences of my life, and whatever happens I will definitely keep on singing."

Josh stipulated how grateful he was for the support he had enjoyed since being announced as the United Kingdom's entrant and also commented on what it was like working with such a renowned songwriting team. He says "My message for my fans is thanks for all of your support, I will give my best performance." "Its been a great experience to work with both Pete Waterman and Mike Stock. They are so funny, very light hearted but they know exactly what they want. They really want to get the best performance." ... [read the full article]

Rick's never gonna give up - with audio

AT 44, former chart-topper Rick Astley is launching his first attack on the UK singles chart in 17 years.

The 1980s star from the Stock Aitken and Waterman Hit Factory was one of the biggest pop acts of the era, scoring massive hits with songs such as Never Gonna Give You Up and Together Forever.

But, in 1993, he quit the music industry for more than a decade.

Now he's back and busier than ever, headlining a 1980s Here And Now tour that comes to Alton Towers on Sunday, supporting comedian Peter Kay for 20 nights at the MEN Manchester Arena and releasing self-penned single Lights Out.

He says: "We are trying to tick all the boxes to have a hit record but I'm not fooling myself because I know that may never happen.

"I'm proud of the song and I wrote it with one of my best friends, who just happens to be a very successful writer and producer at the moment (Andrew Frampton, who has worked with The Script, Natasha Bedingfield and Leona Lewis). [read the full article]

I posted this comment:
"Hi, I'm from Italy and I love so much this wonderful pop song. Josh is young and sings very well, his voice is very good. I love the tune, the chorus, I hope it will be a summer pop hit.

The song was produced by Mike Stock and Pete Waterman and how happened in the '80s and '90s there were many who talked about the simplicity of their song who sold millions of records. Actually asking musicians to play live their productions is far from immediate. Jason Donovan words about the "simplicity" of his past songs deserves to be heard. Mike Stock is a great musician. Finger crossed for Josh. Best regards from Italy!".

Official Video Josh Dubovie - That Sounds Good To Me (United Kingdom)

Josh has been singing since he was little. Aged nine, Josh attended StageAbility Drama school at weekends as an after school activity. The school concentrated mainly on acting, but they also put on musical theatre shows like The King And I and My Fair Lady. Aged fifteen, Josh was given the part of Enjolras in the school production of Les Miserables. As he had never sung before he went to see a vocal coach. Josh instantly fell in love with singing. When Josh left school his father, Richard, decided to manage him and has got him the majority of his professional work. In 2009 Josh starred as Riff in StageAbilitys production of West Side Story. Josh believes he has his mum's voice and his dad's confidence. He has performed at countless festivals and sports events and now works as a professional singer. Josh's song That Sounds Good To Me was masterminded by music legend Pete Waterman who produced numerous hits for e.g. Kylie Minogue, Rick Astley or Steps.

Gorgeous Accoustic Version of the UK's 2007 Eurovision Single 'Flying The Flag (For You)'.
The song went on to score a UK Top 5 Hit in the Singles & Downloads charts, despite coming a lowly second-to-last in the travesty of a Eurovision result itself. It wasn't a Stock, Aitken & Waterman production.

Brother Beyond: Where Are They Now?

Brother Beyond were formed in 1985, when David White saw a reggae band from Hertfordshire called The Palm Tree Club in a Fulham pub. He was introduced to the group's singer Nathan Moore, who fronted the group with sister Teeda, and the pair decided to work together. They were joined by Carl Fyshe and David's brother Eg and soon began rehearsing in the White family's front room.... [read the full article]
