PWL - The Hit Factory Meets The Music Factory

PWL - The Hit Factory Meets The Music Factory - Dj Mix by Def On A Rival for Music Factory Mastermix - Issue 36 - August 1989

267 Action (PWL Mix)

Michael Tsaousopoulos one of the best Djs in Greece made a single for charity with Stock Aitken & Waterman. In our days the maxi single is one of the rarest singles!

4 minutes (PWL style Remix)

Carly Simon - You're So Vain (Matt Pop's PWL Tribute Mix)

THIS IS NOT A PWL RECORD! THE PWL LOGO IS USED JUST TO ILLUSTRATE THE STYLE OF THIS REMIX.

The author wanted to try and make this sound as much as a PWL record as he could.

"You're So Vain" written by Carly Simon, (1972)Elektra. Additional production and remix by Matt Pop. Drums by A. Linn. (Once again: thank you D. for the a capella!)

Solid Harmony - I'll Be There For You

Solid HarmoniE (also SHE) were a British pop girl group formed in 1996. They weren't a Stock, Aitken & Waterman production, but I like very much their songs, especially "I'll Be There For You". It reached number #18 on Uk Single Charts and "To Love Once Again" (n°55 on Uk Single Charts). Initially the band was made up of Rebecca Onslow, Melissa Graham and Mariama Goodman, however Goodman left in 1997 to care for her mother. She was replaced by Elisa Cariera. Goodman rejoined the band later in the year, and the group became a four-piece.

The group was moderately successful, producing five singles and a self-titled album before disbanding in 1999. They had success in the Netherlands where their album went to #1 in the album charts and was certified gold.[1] Also the single "I Want You To Want Me" peaked at #4 in the charts. Goodman joined R&B group Honeyz later that year.

You can see their chart positions on Wikipedia.

A less-known PWL production called 'Tonight's The Night' by Fantasia.

Another wonderful PWL remix given by mixmaster Pete Hammond to the song "Give Your Heart" by Kiwi & Tess in 1989.

Le Look - Shock Banana (extended PWL remix)

A less-known PWL production called 'Shock Banana' performed by Le Look and remixed by mixmaster Pete Hammond.

Tina Gabriel - If You Say You Love Me (the 'PWL formula' remix)

"If You Say You Love Me", performed by Tina Gabriel, is a late 80s track which is NOT a PWL remix but it's remixed as such.

Pamela - Saturday Night (the 'PWL formula' remix)

"Saturday Night", performed by Pamela, is an early 90s track which is NOT a PWL remix but it's remixed as such.

JAKIE QUARTZ - À La Vie À L'Amour (extended PWL remix)

Here is one of the biggest hits of the French singer Jakie Quartz which was remixed by mixmaster Pete Hammond in 1987 for PWL.

RADIORAMA - ABCD (the 'PWL formula' remix)

"ABCD", performed by Radiorama, is a 1988 dance track which is NOT a PWL remix but it's remixed as such. Some instrumental parts remind me of "Hot Girl" by Sabrina Salerno and "Love In The First Degree" by Bananarama, and some vocal parts remind me of "G.T.O." by Sinitta.

"BACK TO S.A.W." ( Thank to Stock/Aitken/Waterman)

Cathy Dennis - Just Another Dream (HQ)

First aired in July 1991. Directed by Greg Masuak. Cathy is 22 years old in this video. Cathy's eye shadow changes color in this video. Purple when wearing the orange top, and green when wearing... this obviously wasn't a Stock, Aitken & Waterman production, the single wasn't so rich of instruments, etc.

Bananarama LOOK ON THE FLOOR (HYPNOTIC TANGO) remix

They're Bananarama, but this video isn't a Stock, Aitken & Waterman production.

Dedicated To The Moon - Ivana Spagna - Ruffano (LE) 04/10/2009

This is not a Stock, Aitken & Waterman production. She's Ivana Spagna, my favourite singer, she sings "Dedicated to the moon" a song from her 1° Album in 1987.

Taylor Dayne - Tell It To My Heart

She's Taylor Dayne, I bought this record when I was young. It was an international hit, also famous here in Italy. Here you can see her debut single from the double platinum album "Tell It To My Heart" 1988. It wasn't a Stock, Aitken & Waterman production, the sound is different. But I liked it.

One True Voice - Shakespears`s Way With Words

One True Voice were a British boyband created on the ITV television series Popstars: The Rivals, which also produced girl group Girls Aloud. The band was created by the public, who voted for their favourite hopefuls each week.

Their debut single, "Sacred Trust/After You're Gone", went head-to-head with Girls Aloud on December 16, 2002, for the Christmas number one spot. One True Voice lost out to the girls and had to settle for the #2 position. The group's manager, Pete Waterman, has speculated that the show was fixed against OTV, but has not said how.
