...The diminutive Liverpudlian became the first British woman to have five top 20 hits with singles taken from a debut album. However, her career began to slide after she left record producers Stock, Aitken and Waterman because of “creative tensions”. In 2003 she took part in the reality TV show Reborn in the USA but was voted off in the fifth week.
Fool for Love is being released by Energise Records and will also appear on a compilation album, written by Mr Power and featuring several divas from the 1980s.
